I kept looking for answers. I’d pick up a book or go to a workshop, hoping that it would offer the magical insight I needed to break through this ongoing dread. Each time, the workshop or book left me feeling hopeful and confident. But then I’d step back into my own world. And there was no magic.

I couldn’t sustain it on my own.

I tried to remain positive, but the old patterns of anxiety and fear kept creeping back into my mind and body. I wondered, “What in the world is wrong with me?” I pushed myself to work harder, spend more hours on my work, do more — I thought the negative feelings would go away if I could only focus on reaching prosperity. I must simply not be trying hard enough!

Then I started to notice something. The more pressure I put on myself, the more adrenaline rushed through my body, and the more tired I’d feel at the end of the day. On the surface I was focusing on prosperity, but this inner turmoil was inadvertently inviting more fear into my life. I felt like I was in prison. Finally I asked myself: “Am I looking at this the wrong way?”

It almost seemed like the whole concept of MONEY
was working against me.

So I started by working on my physical symptoms. I began to focus on my body-mind skills. I developed a series of breath and movement skills that increased my sense of confidence during any situation — including high-pressure meetings and critical marketing calls. This began to help me relax my body and open to more ease and flow. You know ... That feeling of Ahhh!

Then I learned to reach out to people in a heart-felt way, and to articulate my business vision in a way that felt, looked and sounded like me and no one else. And this was the magic.
